Daybreak is a community-driven company, and we are committed to bringing players the best games and entertainment experiences. It is our goal to foster an environment of inclusivity so that all players feel safe and have fun while playing our games and interacting with others through Daybreak’s services and community environments.
These basic rules apply to everyone while playing Daybreak’s games and engaging with others through our communities. Daybreak’s Terms of Service and other policies govern your use of any Daybreak games and services. However, these rules are intended to provide additional guidance to ensure all players have a positive and fun experience across all of our games and communities.
These rules and guidelines are in no way intended to be an all-inclusive list, but rather a guide for players to determine appropriate conduct while playing, streaming, or otherwise using the Daybreak Games official channels.
Daybreak may take action against your account for any violation of these rules, including termination of all Daybreak Games accounts, without a refund of any kind and refusal of service to all present and future Daybreak Games products.
Respect other players and other people you may encounter while playing our games. Don’t abuse other players, Daybreak employees, or the tools provided to request support.
The following are examples of behavior that would be considered abuse:
Hate Mongering – participation in or propagation of hate literature, behavior, or propaganda related to real-world characteristics.
Sexual Abuse or Harassment – untoward and unwelcome advances of a graphic and sexual nature.
Fraud – intentional deception with the intent to harm others or gain an unfair advantage. Requesting assistance from Customer Service with untrue information or with the intention of receiving benefits as a result.
Deceptive Behavior – falsely representing yourself in an attempt to harm other users. Don’t impersonate others, including Daybreak employees.
Spamming – sending excessive unsolicited messages to other players or Daybreak employees that is misleading, harmful, and disruptive.
Antagonistic Speech or Actions – transmitting anything that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, sexually explicit, obscene, hateful, or racially or ethnically offensive. Attempting to convince another player that they have no recourse in a disagreement because favoritism is shown to one of the parties by the Daybreak staff.
Don’t bully, harass, or threaten other players (sexually, racially, or otherwise).
You may not target another player or group of players to harm or inconvenience them. When interacting with others, be mindful that certain interactions that seem harmless or fun to you may be perceived differently by someone else. Daybreak will determine if a reported issue is considered harassment and act accordingly.
Sexual/racial harassment or hatemongering of any kind is against the rules and will result in the immediate termination of all Daybreak Games accounts if sufficient and proper evidence is available and verified.
We will not tolerate any form of hate or discrimination You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially, or ethnically offensive language, in any language. The presence of any form of word filter evasion or other game features is not license or permission, tacit or otherwise, to use such language in any form.
Don’t organize or be a member of any Clan, Outfit, Guild or group that is based on or espouses any racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-gay or other hatemongering philosophy. You also may not organize or be a member of any player association which habitually violates the Daybreak Terms and forum rules and policies.
Please Note: Clan Outfit, Guild or group leaders condoning, participating in, or knowingly allowing such action to occur may also be held responsible for the actions of their Clan or group and may result in action taken against their account.
Clans or groups which violate these rules are subject to disbandment, depending on the severity of the incident which will be determined by Daybreak. Any loss due to the disbanded Clan or group will not be compensated by Daybreak.
Follow the game’s rules and don’t cheat. You may not disrupt the normal playability of a game. Any activity, intentional or unintentional, which harms or inconveniences other players will be considered a disruption.
Don’t exploit or promote any bugs, cheats, or glitches.
Don’t use third party software that creates an unfair advantage to other players.
Help us keep our games fun and fair for everyone! Report any bug or exploit by contacting the game's community manager via the forums or discord or by filing a ticket with Customer Support.
All content should be appropriate and in line with the game’s product rating. Offensive language is not permitted in any language. In order to protect the integrity of the game and the gaming experience for all players, Daybreak may prohibit or delete any content that is overtly offensive and a violation of our rules.
Excessive use of offensive language such as profanity (including their commonly used abbreviations or variations), racial slurs, and other language that is threatening, abusive, or is otherwise designed to cause grief, will be considered a disruption. The existence of any chat/text filtering function does not mean you are allowed to be profane, vulgar or toxic.
Keep your account information private and never share personal information. Don’t sell, transfer, lease, or share any account. Regardless of what third parties may state, allowing another individual, group of individuals, or company expressly hired to play any account is a violation of our Terms of Service.
You must provide your valid and accurate personal information when registering for your Daybreak game account(s). You may not give false information or intentionally hide any information, such as providing an invalid email addresses, inaccurate date of birth, or false telephone number. Failure to provide accurate information may result in the deactivation of your account until such information can be updated properly through our account/billing services, which is available by submitting a ticket via our game support websites.
You may not engage in or promote any illegal activity, such as fraud, piracy, and gambling.
Don’t buy or sell any in-game item or other intellectual property of Daybreak for real world money.
Deceiving or taking advantage of another player in a way that is found to be harmful is strictly prohibited.
Don’t use or provide any server emulator or other site where Daybreak’s games may be played. Linking websites on the forums to such emulator services may result in action taken against your forum account. Discovery of the use or creation of such programs will result in the termination of all Daybreak Games accounts.
Don’t impersonate other people, including Daybreak employees (past or present). This includes any form of parody, jest, or attempt to deflect other customers for fear of action being taken against their account.
We reserve the right, but not the responsibility, to restrict conduct that we deem to be harmful to others, damaging to the service, or in violation of our or any third party's rights. We further reserve the right to prohibit or delete conduct, communication, or content transmitted on Daybreak’s services that is deemed to be in violation of applicable laws or is harmful to other users, the Daybreak Games service community, or the rights of Daybreak in general. You acknowledge, however, that communication over the service occurs in real-time and we cannot screen all communication transmitted through our services.
“Roleplaying" is not a justification to violate these rules. The claim of "roleplay" will not be accepted in defense of any antisocial behaviors.
Daybreak reserves the right to take action against an account for any violation of our rules or Terms of Service. The action taken will depend on the severity of the incident and the types of action may include official warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Multiple suspensions or bans may result in the termination of all Daybreak accounts, you may lose all items associated with your account (e.g. virtual items and account balances). You may not use another Daybreak account to circumvent the action taken against you.
