Palia Welcomes the Harvest with Fall’s Faire, A Season-Long Celebration of Autumn

The Fall’s Faire Series of Updates Kicks off on August 26 with Fall’s Faire: Petals & Portraits

Autumn is arriving in the fantasy life sim game, Palia! Singularity 6 today released the Fall’s Faire Palia Path Roadmap, shedding light on the upcoming season-long series of free content updates bringing new ways for Palians to build, create, explore, and celebrate fall together. The festivities begin with Fall’s Faire: Petals & Portraits launching on Wednesday, August 26, followed by Fall’s Faire: Frights & Delights in October, and Fall’s Faire: Hearty Homecoming in November.  

Leading off the fall season is Petals & Portraits (Patch 0.206) debuting the marquee feature called Civic Projects, a new type of shared global quest where Palians around the world work together toward a permanent change to the game world. The first Civic Project calls on the community to help rebuild the long-neglected Kilima Docks by crafting and contributing resources. Once completed, the project will permanently open direct access between the Kilima Village and Royal Highlands Adventure Zones, with participating players also earning individual rewards for their contributions. Players can also expect additional Petals & Portraits gameplay content, including relationship quests, a Lunar Path, server player-count expansions, the brand-new Queen Ushindi Home Line, a free-cam photo mode, and much more. 

“Fall’s Faire is all about bringing our global community together, whether that's through embarking on shared Civic Projects, capturing memories with enhanced camera tools, or creating an epic haunted house for friends to explore,” said Maxwell Zierath, Director of Production on Palia. “As our world continues to expand, we’re focusing more and more on features that deepen connections, both between players and with the Villagers who call Palia home.” 

Fall’s Faire is only getting started in August. The season will continue with the spooky Spiritfest-themed Frights & Delights (Patch 0.207) in October, before giving thanks in the culmination of the autumn season with Fall’s Faire: Hearty Homecoming (Patch 0.208) in November. 

Beyond Fall’s Faire, the next chapter of Palia’s main story kicks off this winter, exploring themes such as sacrifice, guilt, responsibility and what it means to share another person’s burden. The team is also working on the next evolution of Palia’s housing and shared design systems, private server rentals giving groups of friends the opportunity to enjoy custom Palia experiences, a revamp and modernization of the Communities feature, and the next major Adventure Zone expansion.
