EverQuest Producer’s Letter July 2025

Hail, Norrathians! Since the April Producer’s Letter, we’ve had some excitement with Fangbreaker’s launch, a brand-new Community Token Event system, and more. We’ve also kicked off our yearly Extra Life fundraising efforts along with our global Daybreak Games Super Team page. Rathe Day made a reappearance for its second year, we rolled out new 26th Anniversary Missions, Tempest Festival kicked off with some new content, we've also added more downloadable wallpapers to the website, and more expansion posters to the Swag Store. Speaking of the Swag Store, we've also added Desk Mats to it! Hardcore Heritage returned with a new city and Night of Shadows became free to play. We also launched a new Time Locked Progression server, Fangbreaker, with some new experimental and some tried and true classic rulesets. Not to mention the plethora of expansion unlocks across multiple Time Locked Progression Servers. 

In other news, Darkpaw Games, as part of Daybreak Games' DE&I initiative, recently pledged a donation of $5,000 to The San Diego LGBT Community Center. One of the many projects this organization works on is helping to solve the housing crisis in San Diego. Speaking of Pride, this year's Pride familiars were the cutest Red Pandas, I hope you all enjoyed them. It’s been a busy few months, and we're not done yet!

As of this morning, we have a Krono Purchase Promotion going on! Did you know a group of ravens is called an unkindness? There is no unkindness here as you will get a Visage of a Blood Raven for every Krono you purchase from our website! Be quick to grab as many as you may want before this promo closes at the end of this month.

Coming up on the Roadmap in July there was listed a potential server merge. That merge, as you all know now, will be Ragefire to Vox and will be occurring on July 16, 2025. There's also a great bunch of events coming up on the agenda, such as Death, Death, Death, Living Legacy Raids, Stone Cold Summer, and the Fall Fun events! We also have some more unlocks across various servers, and more releases of wallpaper and posters. Not to mention, we will be posting Extra Life Incentives. And we still have more amazing things for you all this year!

Also, our Community Manager, Angeliana, is working hard to get a Content Creator program off the ground later this year, opening applications for Community Resource Council, and running more community events for chances to obtain those Logs of Ventures; keep your eyes peeled for the posts. 

Going a bit more behind the scenes, the development team has got their noses to the grindstone getting this year’s expansion ready for you all. The artists and designers are busy creating new zones, putting together new NPCs, creating quests and raids, updating and creating new spells and alternate abilities, and creating new items. 

The only additional thing I can say about what’s coming is that, depending on your side of the table, sometimes rolling a natural 20 is equivalent to rolling a critical 1.
