Get Game Cards Before They’re Gone

Hey Daybreak fans!

For the past year, we have sold Daybreak game cards in select U.S. retailers (Walmart, Target, GameStop, Toys R Us, and Best Buy). We have decided not to continue selling the physical game cards in stores; instead, Daybreak Cash (and/or All Access Membership), will be available in digital-only formats, direct from Daybreak on the web or in-game.

Daybreak game cards will no longer be available at U.S. retailers beginning the week of September 26, 2016. If you have a purchased Daybreak game card that you have not yet redeemed, you will still be able to redeem it on line.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: A store near me still has the Daybreak game cards. Can I buy those?
While cards may still be found at some U.S. retailers during this period, after November 8, 2016, cards will no longer be able to be activated. This means you will not be able to purchase the cards from the retailer, who must activate the card at the register.

Q: I have Daybreak Cash cards that I previously purchased. Can I still redeem them?
Yes. If you have a Daybreak game card you purchased before November 8, 2016, but have not redeemed it, those cards will still redeem and you will receive your DB Cash or Membership, depending on the card.

Q: I still have old SOE game cards that I previously purchased and have not yet redeemed. Can I still use those?
If you have an SOE game card you purchased before October 7, 2015, but have not yet redeemed it, those cards will still redeem and you will receive DB Cash or Membership, depending on the card.

Q: Can I use one of these game cards to purchase Crowns, the new virtual currency in H1Z1: King of the Kill?
You will still be able to redeem the cards for Daybreak Cash. Once you have done so, you may log in to www.h1z1.com/king-of-the-kill and select the “Convert Daybreak Cash to Crowns” option. The conversion option will be available through December 31, 2016.

Q: I play DCUO and/or PlanetSide 2 on a console. Can I use these cards?
Previously purchased cards are redeemable for Daybreak Cash and/or All Access Membership, which are only available on PC. These cards will not work on PS3, PS4, or Xbox One.

Q: Will these cards be available again in the future?
At this time, we do not have plans for physical Daybreak game cards to be available at retailers for Daybreak Cash or All Access Membership.

Q: Does this mean game cards will never be available outside of the U.S.?
At this time, we do not have plans for physical Daybreak game cards to be available at any retailers for Daybreak Cash or All Access Membership.
